The Christina Lake Fire Department was formed in the 1940's as a group of volunteer citizens determined to provide fire service to their community. In 1990 the Christina Lake Fire Department re-organized and now reports to the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary. The dedicated and hard working people that make up the department are an invaluable asset to the community, providing fire protection and First Responder emergency services to the Christina Lake area.
